Delete your account

Use this page to request deletion of your Hikely account and associated personal data.

Delete inside the app

1. Open Hikely.
2. Go to My Cave.
3. Open Settings.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm the deletion request.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, send us a deletion request from the email address connected to your Hikely account. Include your Hikely username if you know it. Do not send your password.

What will be deleted

• Your Hikely account and profile information.
• Your posts, comments, saved content, followers, and social activity.
• Your recorded hikes, trail recordings, photos, location history, and related hike data.
• Personal settings connected to your account.

What may be retained

We may retain limited records when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, accounting, or compliance reasons. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten. Aggregated or anonymized information that no longer identifies you may also be retained.

Processing time

In-app deletion is processed immediately where possible. Email requests are reviewed manually. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required by law or for security verification.
